Was a nice atmosphere, but wow what poor service. We're pretty easy going people, and were having a relaxed evening... but even after they realised they'd made us wait 45mins for a fish main, they then made us wait a further 15min for even a dessert menu. We left soon afterwards. It was clear that the table of 7 blondes was getting a very great deal more attention from the two waiters, despite their arriving a long time after us. They then got defensive about us feeding back to them that they had been ignoring us all evening.

As close to perfect as I think you can get. What a fantastic all round experience.Excellent service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff were happy to converse, answer questions and provide advice. Phenomenal food. The sparking merlot was an incredible accompanyment to the duck broth starter.One of the very best steaks I have had in a very long time. I asked for it blue and it was cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth quality cut of mean and the accompanyments (both wine and food) were spot on.Great local wines. From the associated vineyard.What more can you ask for? I hope I can visit again.
Cheese board was a supermarket board. Supermarket meats and pate. With so much produce around I expected fresh, local produce boards. Even the board isnt made locally with a timber place in town. Staff friendly
