We come here for dinner every time we visit Rutherglen. It's a great wine bar and restaurant. It's got a really good atmosphere of groovy meets chilled. The wine selection of about 140 wines, many of which are from local wineries, is very good and prices are reasonable. The food is very good too; we enjoyed every dish we ate. They specialise in steaks for their mains. Match that with a bottle of All Saints Pierre and you can't go wrong. The entrees and desserts are definitely worth having too. To top it off the staff were helpful and very friendly. Very highly recommended.

Beautiful eatery and wine/other bar. Staff are exceptional but!!!! can forget to look around to see if someone is waiting for service!!! because they get involved in conversation with patrons. Food quality is very good. If you are looking for a great social night out in this town you can't go past the Thousand Pound Bar.
